2010 Christmas Concert on Marco Island

You may have noticed the new kid--
Robbie Cuttler.
Robby is shy,so he hasn't filled in his bio, yet.
As soon as we can we will get it posted.

??? Some show, somewhere. What makes it special is that Mike
just got a new (old ) bass, and this was it's debut.
Mike has nothing but Fender Jazz Basses-he has quite a collection of
these-all 1960's models, and one of every color made in that era.

'05 Fort Myers Rock Til you Drop car show.
That's
Ron's custom metalflake, pinstriped guitar that he uses for car shows.
John
Strange to see him out from behind his drum set,but
a guy has to stretch his legs once in a while.

John- -(Above) in the drum isolation booth at the recording
studio.
(Below) John behind his plexiglass sound cage.
He's in his glory. He just bought this vintage set of Rogers black pearl
drums, and this is his first time playing them at a show.

Mike,Nick, and John taking a break between cuts at Unity
Gain Studios.
Mike is Uptown's newest member. He's from Brooklyn,so he fits
right in.He also has an extensive vintage Fender Jazz Bass collection!

Rick and Nick

Nicky on sax (when he's not on drums, keyboards,or singing bass vocals) Truly the "Dangerous Duo"
**Nick
performs all his own stunts. No stand-in is used.

Tony and Larry
Larry was Uptown's sound engineer until his recent move to Tennessee.
Robert Roderick is our current sound engineer. Not just
anyone can handle a group this size, but he does it sooo well.
Bruce,Tommy,Robert,and Tony
This was an older picture, taken before Bob Stewart joined the group to make the finest 5 part harmony you
will ever hear.

ready for the show at The Stage

Robert and Tommy in the dressing room
Just some trivia----Robert sang with the Velours in his early doo wop days, but
his next gig was the one best remembered.
Robert was with The Chips.Their song,Rubber Biscuit,was a
favorite back in the day,and was made popular once more in the movie,The
Blues Brothers starring John Belushi and Dan Akroyd.
**Please note that Uptown Express is not responsible
for any of Robert's jokes.**
Robert writes all his own material.
